As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building data systems, while you ensure that you are aware of the latest technology to maintain data sets. You are experienced and driven in this! You also test these datasets and work together with various stakeholders to convert the wishes within the organization into datasets that can be effectively read and used by Data Analysts & Data Scientists, among others. Our Data Engineering & AI squad takes on this responsibility for our customers. Our consultants work on important data engineering projects for organizations such as KLM & ASLM, and also within large government organizations.

Our partner is composed by more than 250 colleagues in various areas of expertise who have been working with great clients on great projects. Our Data Engineering & AI squad consists of 15 colleagues. Our Data Engineers work for both government customers and large commercial companies, so there is a wide range of assignments!
PROJECTS THE TEAM IS WORKING ON
Data and self-learning algorithms to support KLM's operational decisions. Big Data solutions at ASML to make their machines work even better.
You have:
- A completed HBO or WO education in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, or other related field in which you work with databases.
- At least 5 years of experience as a data engineer or similar role working with Big Data.
- Experience in designing and implementing Big Data technologies.
- Designing, building and troubleshooting and monitoring ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge in Python, Java or Scala programming languages, and preferably experience with Hadoop and Spark, Flink or Snowflake.
