Data Scientist (m/f/x)

Skeleton Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Scientist (m/f/x) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your insights will contribute directly to the success of the overall company! As a Data Scientist (m/f/x) your role will be split into two main sections. On one side, it will be to analyse and report the lab-scale, and prototype ultracapacitor & battery electrical test data by following the data management procedures and reporting guidelines. On the other side, you will be responsible for the development of the R&D data storage database.

Our ultimate goal with Skeleton is to build a net zero future, and our role is to make sure the world is aware of how we can help save energy, cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and enable the energy transition.

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • Develop and maintain an R&D data storage database in python/Django framework.
  • Create scripts for automated data processing and visualisation.
  • Conduct data analysis in alignment with the agreed-upon R&D laboratory timeline.
  • Present data in the respective project documentation and prepare comprehensive summaries.
  • Provide feedback to the laboratory/project manager regarding any identified errors or problems during data analysis.
  • Continuously enhance data analytics methods and the Cell Development data infrastructure.
  • Generate figures and graphs for internal project discussions and communications with suppliers.

Requirements

We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, or another STEM field.
  • Min. 2 years of professional experience in the related field.
  • Proficiency in handling R&D data, involving discussions and interpretation in collaboration with other members of the Technology team.
  • Required experience with Python & Django framework.
  • Previous experience in data management is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal English and min. basic German language skills. Estonian language skills are a plus.
  • Beneficial skills include familiarity with the PostgreSQL, Git, Unix shell, and PowerBI.
