We want you to join our team as a BI Analyst and help our area become more efficient in keeping the financial sector a fair place!

LC&I Analytics is a data analytics team helping drive Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) area’s data agenda for our business unit. You will be working with 5 other colleagues: 2 Data Engineers, 3 BI Analysts, and a technical team leader to support a function of over 400 employees in their work. Our team is creating value for all levels of stakeholders in the area, from performance management reporting for team leaders to customer deep-dive tools and dashboards for all FCP KYC LC&I employees.

  • Design and develop Tableau dashboards for various reporting projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, understand and log their business needs, and use your findings to create appropriate business logic by using data in Microsoft SQL Studio database
  • Work closely with your team members to handle various complexity ad-hoc requests from the area, from extracting current data points from the area’s statistics to simulating ‘what-if’ scenarios on the customer portfolio
  • Act as the main responsible person for a portion of the team’s reporting portfolio, gathering additional requirements, prioritising improvement tasks, and adding enriching features based on priority and value
  • Drive the team forward by gathering new ideas to bring our shared responsibilities to an even higher level of quality
  • Identify appropriate external data sources, validate the data, and collaborate with the team to onboard the data into our data warehouse, and optimise queries for best efficiency
  • If desired, participate in data warehouse design, integration, and maintenance

About you:

If you are someone that is driven by a mission and truly enjoy working with data, you will pique our interest!

To excel in such a role, you are expected to be solution-oriented and have strong communication skills working with different stakeholders who trust your data expertise.

  • Analytical and curious thinker, excited to collaborate with your team to achieve a collective end product
  • Good SQL querying skills and the ability to create efficient data sets for reporting
  • Experience in building effective data visualisation solutions on Tableau (or other data visualisation software such as PowerBI, Qlik, etc.) would be very beneficial
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills (both spoken and written)
  • Great problem-solving abilities, a good work ethic, and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Proven collaboration skills and the capability to drive conversation and understand requirements from non-technical audiences and stakeholders
