Job Description

This position will be based at our Thermopatch Sports UK production site reporting to the operational leader, delivering reliable and timely data to internal stakeholders across our Embelex organization. The data administrator will be responsible for the development of automation tools in terms of data collection, refinement and analytics to help the operation with solutions that reduce or eliminate non-value added time in terms of reporting, analyzing and making decisions based on data.

You must have a strong proficiency for data gathering, process creation and automation to drive improvements and efficiencies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create data gathering process tools for metric tracking

  • Report the operations and service metrics in the global platforms

  • Record and measure the performance of each operator in every product line

  • Review in a monthly basis the low performance operators with the supervisors and develop action plans for improvement

  • Facilitate metrics reportage to the shopfloor (UEE, Scrap, UPLH) and provide tools to control the manual input of information and prevent mistakes

  • Develop reports to the leadership team about the operations status such as backlog, productivity metrics, shortage reports and order status

  • Enable digital solutions that facilitate data availability among cross-functional teams 

  • Continuously improve data enablement mechanisms to reduce/eliminate non value added inputs

  • Data Admin support for other sites as required from time to time

 

Qualifications

  • Engineering or computer science background preferred

  • Experience with handling data

  • Strong Google Sheets (MS Excel) Skills

  •  UK Drivers Lincence and willing to travel on occasion to other sites within the UK, with some occasional travel outside the UK
