Overview of the role:
The Marketing Insight Analyst will play a pivotal role in monitoring shifts in new player value at PokerStars, understanding their implications, and gathering relevant data for analysis. The role reports into the Marketing Insight Manager and their primary focus will be on tracking marketing payback, ensuring monthly accuracy in data presentation, and aligning objectives with departmental targets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities with the ability to work autonomously.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
What you’ll do:
Key Responsibilities include:

Support the Insight Manager, who is the gatekeeper for understanding the value of new PokerStars players across Poker, Casino, and Sports.

Feed back to the business on the impact of PokerStars’ investment in key markets.

Facilitate the forecasting process by providing stakeholders with accurate and comprehensive information to enable decision making.

Identify player value gaps and inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements and corrective action to stakeholders.

Manage and collate reporting related to player value within the team to deliver high quality, frequent and relevant updates to business stakeholders.

Ensure all assigned and innovated projects are documented and executed to a high quality, managing stakeholder requirements effectively.
What you’ll bring:
Essential

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with an ability to transform, analyse and present data for use in decision making.

An ability to use data as a means of storytelling, communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time appropriately while under pressure.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.

Ability to take ownership of projects and to work alone with little or no supervision.

Willingness to learn and be proactive in sourcing relevant knowledge to self-solve.
Desirable

Knowledge and understanding of the Gaming industry.

Experience with visualisation tools such as MicroStrategy and/or Power BI.

Experience using SQL and/or Python.

Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA/Confluence.
