About this role:
We are seeking an associate with strong process improvement, data analysis and communication skills to join the Content and Research Excellence (CRE) organization within Gartner’s Research and Advisory (R&A) business unit. This role will partner with a range of CRE leaders who manage teams of functional experts (content strategists, writers, editors, visual designers, and program managers) to collect (and in some cases develop new measures), reconcile and analyze multiple data sets to help improve the operating productivity and the quality of team outputs. Reporting to the VP of Topic Sensing, this role will also join a team that designs and builds demand sensing tools to support senior leaders who plan and manage Gartner’s content and topic coverage.
What you will do:
- Partner with leaders to understand their team’s core business responsibilities, repeated routines and activities, and business problems and help design the appropriate measurement tool
- Collect, synthesis and analyze reported and observed data from disparate sources and systems in easy to understand analysis
- Develop and maintain an authoritative understanding of data sets used to track team activities and content performance metrics
- Present compelling data-driven stories and visualizations, make recommendations for boosting performance and operational efficiency
- Effectively communicate best practices on planning, creating, managing and promoting content based on the performed analysis
What you’ll need:
- 4-5 years of experience in Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing Analytics or other data science field analyzing impact and improvement of published content
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing Analytics or other relevant field, Masters preferred
- Excellent logic and project management skills, ability to effectively solicit feedback to implement changes
- Native-level verbal and written communication in English
- High data literacy, passion for data science
- Strong knowledge of Excel, statistical methodologies, data visualization required
