Aviva is seeking a Data Science Analyst who together with our Data Science community will be transforming Commercial Lines insurance at Aviva.

What will you be doing?

Development of interactive application based mostly on R (RShiny, shinydashboard)

Data analytics and data processing
-
Connectivity with external APIs
-
Peer code review and unit testing of developed solutions
-
Following guidelines in terms of clean code, naming convention, code version control

Documenting introduced changes in line with instructions
-
Support in migration processes
What we’re looking for?
-
Transferrable programming language experience such as R, Python, SQL or similar
-
Dashboard development skills would be ideal, especially in R Shiny
-
Analytical mindset and creative thinker/problem solver
-
Organised self-starter, with drive and commitment
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and present to non-technical audiences
