As an Applied AI ML Associate in the Markets Operations team at J.P. Morgan Corporate Investment Bank, you will be at the forefront of our industry-leading AI team. You will have the opportunity to advance the state of the art in financial applications, ranging from generating business intelligence to predictive models and automated decision making. You will work closely with our Markets Operations team, applying AI techniques to answer questions relevant to their operations. You will also have the chance to receive technical mentorship from experienced team members who will guide you to formulate, communicate, and promote the implementation of AI solutions, build robust, scalable, and reusable AI capabilities, and stay ahead of AI trends and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Learning and applying cutting-edge AI techniques to solve business problems
• Cleaning and preparing data for NLP modeling
• Learning different technologies for scalable and efficient model deployment
• Writing clean and efficient Python code
• Working closely with other experienced data scientists and mentors in an interactive and collaborative environment

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in a stem field (Science, Technology, Numerical)
• Strong Python development and debugging skills
• A strong interest in how AI models work, the reasons why particular AI models work or not work on particular problems, and the practical aspects of how new models are designed
