Responsibilities

As a Cloud Platform Engineer,

  • you will design, develop, and deploy cloud solutions. Work with the latest technologies and experienced Cloud Solution Architects and Cloud Engineers.
  • You will immerse yourself in private, public and hybrid cloud environments, which means that you will constantly improve your knowledge and skills.
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders and DevOps teams to implement and optimize solutions, assess customer requirements and advise on technologies and solutions.
  • You will also contribute to best practices, documentation and Training.
  • You will work in an agile team of software, infrastructure and data professionals. The Software Platform Team creates and maintains the platform that supports software development, deployment and operation.
Qualifications
  • A Cloud Platform Engineer with experience in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and scrum/agile working.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud platform, services, and architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Cloud security and networking), and experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Proficiency in a programming language or scripting, and good understanding of system and network architecture.
  • A relevant MBO/HBO/WO education and preferably Azure certifications are essential, as is a good command of Dutch and English.
